The Belleek Archive Collection: Celebrating 150 Years of Fine Irish Artistry, 1857 – 2007

This exceptional piece is synonymous with Belleek design, boasting a lovely rose and shamrock motif. Flowered pieces were relatively late introductions to the Belleek product line, not appearing until well after 1872. By the 1890s, many earlier-produced pieces, which had been simply painted, were revised with floral decoration. Considering the tremendous popularity of these handcrafted, flowered collectibles, it hard to imagine if they had never been created. Artisan William Henshall designed the floral applications on most of the early items, including the Belleek Flowered Pot.
