This oblong platter is part of the Shamrock dinner service, which dates from the early part of the 20th Century. Its designer, Frederick Slater came to Belleek in 1894 to head the company’s design department. Mr. Slater came from a long line of very distinguished potters with strong connections throughout the potteries in Stoke-on-Trent.
